    Here are some activities I consider to fit the categories:

    BODY AND SPACE AWARENESS

    Swinging, riding tricycles, scooters, pulling wagon, etc.

    VISUAL AND SPATIAL SKILLS

    Tracking objects in all directions - play Simon Says while leader holds colorful object, or perform ribbon dance where children mimic movements

    Matching shapes and tracking patterns - file folder games to match shapes, sequencing games with large beads or blocks: red, yellow, blue, red, yellow, _______

    BALANCE

    Low balance beam

    GROSS MOTOR SKILLS

    Outside play, parachute, tricycles, scooters, wagons, running, etc.

    FINE MOTOR SKILLS

    Puzzles, play-dough, lacing cards, beading activities, blocks, coloring, drawing, painting, picking up small items with tweezers
