  1. The business was sold to Eurocycles in 1987, it was a 20 year lease on name which I think was not renewed 2007.


  2. Well, I do know they have made steel framed bikes for decades. I'm not sure if they still exist as a bike company anymore. It's possible thay have made alum frames but I know of none.

  3. alot of the lower end models were "carbo-lite" steel, a high carbon heavy steel that was fairly sturdy, a cut above your gas-pipe huffy. Some upper end models came with Reynold 531 (the PX-10). They never produced any aluminum bikes to my knowledge. What year peugeot? have a photo? check out this website for better info:

  4. They are long gone. The last ones that I saw were made from steel.
