What are points? What are they used for? I have 132. What does it mean? I'm a level 1. What does that mean?

My question says it all.

go to the upper right hand corner of this screen and click on 'my q & a" once that page pops up scroll down to 'points' and then click on the little question mark next to it and it will tell you how many points it takes to get to what levels...now, what are the points for ? nothing...you get no prizes, nothing on the pride that comes from helping others.

the points are only used to get you to higher levels

you have 132 lev 1..you need 250 to get to level 2

asking ...you lose 5 points

answering ..you gain 2 points for each...
