What are poppers? Any side-effects?

My boyfriend asked me if I'd like to try poppers. Any body has experience with those? Can you get addicted. I know it's a disturbed question but I seriously want to know what the general opinion is.

popper are them things you eat that cost like 8 dollars for like 6.

or it could be some kind of drug that will make your heart rate go do fast you could have a heart attack. or it could be them party popper that shot that shredded paper all over the place. or some kind of new sexual position that I have never heard of. I donno

It is a liquid in a small bottle that you inhale and it opens up the blood vessels in your body. It gives a better feeling in intercourse during o****m, and for anyone who ever has anal s*x it makes it easier to do that. It is called poppers because it used to be used when someone had a heart attack in a capsule that would be "popped" to release the vapors.

I don't know that it is addicting. It gives you sort of a "head rush" and if you have any pre-existing condition where you should not open up your blood flow more then don't use it. For me it makes my erection diminish so that can be a side effect for some.

I think you should break up with your boyfriend. You should cease contact with anybody offering you drugs!

Poppers widen the blood vessels in the body and relax smooth muscles, such as the ones in the v****a and a**s. The effects are instant and brief, including light headedness, giddiness and heat waves. For some people, they increase pleasure during s*x which is the only reason your 'boyfriend' wants you to sniff them.

The side effects include headaches, nausea, coughing, dizziness, and in serious instances users may completely pass out. Regular use can cause skin problems around the mouth and nose and if spilled, poppers burn the skin (Do you really want to inhale something that could burn your skin?



Alkyl nitrites (Poppers) reduce blood pressure. This makes it especially dangerous for people with anemia, glaucoma, breathing or heart problems and poppers can be fatal if swallowed.

The only reason your boyfriend wants you to take these is for the sexual benefits. Then you get left with all the side effects.
