What are possible causes of extended headaches?

For the past two weeks, I've been having headaches that last for hours or all day. I get tension headaches, but I don't think this is the cause. Motrin and Tylenol aren't helping much. What could these headaches be caused by?

many many reasons. sometimes before you start your period, you get frequent headaches, you could be stressed, or not getting enough sleep, and often times..could mean pregnancy..since you mentioned being nauceous.

Do you have braces?  Have you been checked for TMJ?  Have you seen a doctor yet?

You could have an infection, sinusitis or other. You may not drink enough water or too much coffee and tea. You could have migraine - some people have attacks that last for weeks. Or it could be something more serious. I'd see a doctor if I were you and rule out some possible causes.
