What are possible causes of my air conditioning continuing to blow warm after a recharge?

I just purchased a recharge kit from the store and recharged the air conditioning on my 98' S10. I filled it completely with 1lb. and 12oz. of 134a as requested by the user manual. The compressor is spinning and it took the refrigerant just as it should have, but I am still getting absolutely no cold air blowing. What are some possible causes? I'm stumped.

  1. if it was dry and not working it can hold like four cans

  2. you need to check the pressures.... too much or too low of pressure and it wont work.

static pressure should be above 50psi, or compressor wont kick on.   if it took a charge, then i assume the compressor does engauge(kick on)

    possible compressor problem.

    possible expansion valveproblem

  3. It may take another can
