What are proper maintenance techniques for a pool cue?

I wouldnt advise leaving your cue in the heat whether its in a case or not. It can still warp if left in excessive heat for long periods of time.

Clean with glass cleaner DRY it then store laying down flat--dont get it on tip short ans but thats my 2 points worth

Keep it clean and dry. When the tip gets as thin as a dime get a new one put on. Keep it in a hard case when your not using it , thats about it.
