What are props for a merchant?

My daughter will play a merchant in a school play. She is supposed to bring appropriate props. What are they?

Depends on what type merchant. She is a shop owner and will sell things. If its a hat shop, she needs hats. A grocery store, groceries. The teacher really needs to give you a clue as to what they want her to do.

Plays are fun but so hard when you don't get much communication from the teacher.

I hope she is awesome! Video tape it and tell her its for when she's famous. i have some funny videos of my kids!
