What are pros anc cons to a 12 hour 3 day work week?

Im adding a new shift for production and am considering 2 shifts 12 hours 3 days instead of 2 8 hour 5 day. What are some benefits?

It depends on the type of work your workers do, but production speed and accuracy goes down after about 6 hours, even with breaks.

On the other hand, it will save your employees gas and commuting time, which will improve morale, which improves production.

the benefits out wheigh the cons in my opinion, personally i and many others wish they could work 10hrs for 4days. The less days on the job the better.  Your employees would have a 4day wk end every week. The only con is that a 12hr day is very long and you have to give breaks for your workers.
