  1. Yes i have an acer, and its very good, in fact im looking to upgrade at the moment and will certainly go for another one

  2. ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY ACER LAPTOP, FAST AS h**l AND LOOKS BLOODY FANTASTIC

  3. i have an ACER !!! just as good as the next one .but if i had the money i would buy an MAC. maybe one day

  4. I have one and it's as good as any.A good thing is being able to set them

back to factory settings so easily. So every 6 months give them a clean out.Press ALT AND F10 ON start up.There are some real good bargains

    on them iv'e noticed

  5. Acer laptops (Along with 'Alienware Laptops') are noted for their excellent performance. Acer now own Packard Bell, which used to be a very successful Computer Brand.

I have an Acer Desktop PC, and it is very fast and very customizable.

  6. my grandsons have them and they seem pretty good

  7. Acer are very good .The aftersales is excellent as i can vouch for.

  8. Acer are great I have an Acer Aspire 5520 and i think that it is better than my partners hp, which had to be replaced twice in 1 year I have had mine a while with no problems at all. Acer are great value for money as they are high spec at lower prices.

  9. Yes, i know three people with Acer laptops and they've had no problems. What ever you do please avoid Dell, as they become increasingly slow in a short space of time!

The people i know with Acer Laptops have had them 2 - 3years!

  10. Yeah , most of them have quite big screens and run smoothly :D

I Loved the one i had but i smashed it . I dropped it out my window :/

Oh and btw they dint break easy unless it hits concrete Lol

    Tabishi are really good aswell

  11. I've used them before and liked them. They don't seem any different from the bigger named manufacturers like HP and Dell. Just depends on your specs.

  12. Yes ACER laptops are very good, they're usualy cheaper than most other brands but still good. Ive owned one for about a year now and its not failed once and looknig at what youve put it be a pritty fast laptop.

  13. yes i've used them at work and have got some very good avice for you: The reason they're so cheap is because they come with loads of things you don't need installed on them, eg Norton, Microsoft Office, eSobi, MS SQL server, all the Acer software, etc. etc. GET RID OF THEM ALL BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING. Norton and Office will expire after a grace period an then you have to pay for them. Much better to just give your system a spring clean as soon as you get it and be done with it. Once its free of all the unwanted programs, they're good pc's.

  14. both me and my friend have acers and they're slow and they get super hot and whenever you have more than one programme open at once the sound breaks up and everytime i try to play a song on my itunes the first 10 seconds of every new song are broken up

its not like we've downloaded a bunch of stuff - my stepmum is a computer pro and has set up my computer all spanky and my friend is a normal computer user

i personally believe that this comp is BS and i miss my old mac and then next comp i buy will definately be a mac again...

  15. I've owned Acer laptops in the past (just recently sold my last one to a friend) and i've always felt they were solid computers.

When your talking about consumer grade notebooks there really is no "better" company than any other.  They all use the same basic hard ware from the same companies.  its not like Acer or HP or Dell magically get diffrent hardware than the other companies.  So thay are all pretty much the same.

But with my experience Acer is a perfectly good brand.  The only problem i ever had was the fact they dont offer a gaming rig (or really anything with a top end GPU) but they do have some pretty nice multimedia laptops and they are pretty good work machines as well

  16. I'm on my second at the mo, and I'm very happy with them. Have a good look around though, as I've found that there's not just one set of specs for every type. Especially graphics cards can vary quite a lot, so if it's cheaper in one shop than the other and it looks the same, and is called the same, it's usually graphics cards difference or HD space. In neither my last one nor this one did I find any major issues I can warn you about, all in all good value for money I think.
