I have a small room and don't need monster speakers, just something efficient that I use equally, for movies and music. I was considering Mirage Nanosat for $600, but would like to know what else is decent to add to my list, before I make the rounds to test them out. They'll be matched up with an Onkyo 705. Thanks for your feedback!

  1. The Mirage Nanosats are a nice set of speakers.  Have you actually heard them demoed?  Another nice sounding mini set are KEF's.  You can hear them at your local Bestbuy or Circuit City but the prices there are usually a bit higher.  Here's a link to a good online dealer for the KEFs.  Go with what ever sounds best to you, because really that's all that matters.

  2. I'm using a 5.1 set of Definitive Technology bookshelf speakers and 10" sub which cost $800.  You might be able to get them for a little less since this was about 3 months ago.
