  1. Real time stocks are the prices at that exact moment, not this mornings or yesterdays.


  2. If you mean real time stock quotes, they show the price where the stock is trading right at that moment (the last trade).  Often times, stocks quotes are delayed by 15-20 minutes, so saying real time is to differentiate.
