  1. Nuclear, solar, water and wind energy.  Basically sources of energy that are heathy and renewebale, UNLIKE coal

  2. Well, glad you asked, because I'm doing this in Geography right now for revision for my GCSE exams (drats!) =)

Ok, I remember my teacher talking to me about them, um...hang on....ok, I remember now....

They are energy that are obtained from sources that can be used over and over again.

I'm sorry to be on the odd side, but when I think of renewable, I think of the word renew, which then makes me think of the library. You know how you can renew a book, and then you have it all over again? Anyways, ye, where was I?

These types of renewable sources can be waste, wind, wood, etc. (You can look for others on google if that helps. I did that in class, lol)

Does that help?? I mean, this is generally all from my knowledge...of course this may not be much '~', but I hope that I have answered your question helpfully. =)

  3. Renewable energy is one that can be used again and again without exhausting the resource; wind energy, wave energy, tidal energy, Solar energy, geothermal energy, biomass (if planned), hydroelectric.

You could also include biogas (produced from landfill sites).

This is a good document telling you how much we use renewables...
