What are requirements to be a flight attendant? ?

I'm not sure of the requirements, but I'd take a long hard look at the industry before considering joining a career in it. Companies are constantly going under without notice. The job is increasingly demanding and stressful as staffs are being stripped to the bone and the jobs demands are at an all time high. Then there is the rigorous background checks for post 9/11. Now ask your self, do you really want to go through all that just to serve peanuts to fat, rude, and lazy people?

It will depend on the carrier. Regional carriers will vary on requirements compared to say international. Then take a look at how they doing (are they expanding or furloughing their staff). Most regional carriers will have height limitations and most will say something to the affect of "must look proportionate according to helght and weight" ...Hope this helps, oh and some carriers also have adopted nicotine restrictions
