You can start by taking shorter showers. Turning off the water when you brush your teeth. Influencing your parental units to buy Energy Star appliances. Try to replace as many lightbulbs as you can with the new energy effecient ones.

Green.yahoo.com has some amazing ways to "go green".

  3. start simple...by a flower or 2..if that works out, by a fern or a hanging vine....lol.my dad actually planted a grapevine in a hanging planter in our home...it took 4ever 2 grow but the grapes were awesome...good luck!

  4. well you can use energy saving light bulbs. they look like swirly macoroni. also, you can turn off yuor ac during the summer and turn off ur heater during the winter.use solar power too. get some solar panels.

  5. you can start by bring your own reusable bags when you go shopping, using energy efficient light bulbs, encourage your parents to buy organic or locally grown foods, and ask them to buy %100 eco-friendly toilet paper and paper towels which use no trees to make, and clean the house with natural cleaners like vingar and baking soda, get some plants for around the home to remove toxins from the air, and recycle, wash in cold water and hang to dry, and reduce your shower time by 2-3 minutes, unplug appliances that arent in use, dont use lights in the daytime theres so many little things you can do, when your waiting for your shower to warm up save the water and use it for water plants, and make suer to turn off the tap when your brushing your teeth!
