What are snowy winters like?

Question

whats it like living in an area where there is snow right through winter. Do you enjoy that type of climate or would you rather go without it. I'm just curious coz i live in sydney where the winters are cool but nothing more.

It depends on how much, like last year we had alot of snow.....way over average, in Illinois, USA.  I think I'd miss it if we didn't have any, I always look forward to the first snowfall.

I live in texas it only snowed once in a hundred years, it was wet and white. It looked like the whole place was covered in a white blanket!

I live in Nevada (yes, we get snow), and we usually get like at least a foot of snow every storm. Its crazy awesome.

personally I love it, but most people hate it.  the cold has never bother me, and nothing is more satisfying than when you go out and get cold, going in and sitting around a warm fire with a cup of hot chocolate.
