I need shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, body wash, and makeup, that contain NO animal products, and were not tested on animals. I'm needing an answer real quick-like if you don't mind!

  1. I have to go with the above poster, while animal testing might seem... bad. How would you make sure that when i got it into my eyes that it wouldn't completely destroy them? just release it to the public? maybe get a human volunteer?

We dont know how different things will interact, even more so with our body, so testing on animals is the only way we can be sure that we wont harm ourselves. If you really dont like it, make your own. Shampoo isn't hard to make at all. But if you want healthy looking hair, you need those chemicals and somehow they need to be tested.

  2. A lot of products, and I'm willing to say most products like that aren't tested on animals anymore. Just Yahoo or Google some of the products that come to mind with animals in the tagline.

Also, having worked at target before, i know that a lot of the employees will help you find whatever you need, and they'll even read the labels for you.  Just ask.

  3. why do you care if it was tested on an animal

do you want them to test it on a person even if there is somethingg wrong with it then it would kill the person or hurt the person just so the ugly little rat will be ok

god whats wrong with some people

  4. Vegans need a well researched shopping list before they go shopping. I'm not sure what brands test on animals anymore.

BTW: Not all animal testing is all bad. There was an ingredient added to shampoo back in the 70's. No one bothered to test this ingredient on rats first. Guess what happened, thousands of people ended up with cornea scaring due to this ingredient when some splashed in their eye.

  5. Paper plates are animal safe, and they also hold a "steak" very well.

  6. Look for Avalon Organics, Aveda, and Nature's Gate products.  These are usually sold in larger stores like Target and grocery stores.
