What are some Australian multicultral Symbols... And why?

Sorry the question might be confusing but I need to know some Australian Multicultural Symbols... Please help!

  1. What a hard question. I dont think we have any.We have our Australian Flag and the Aboriginal Flag and that is about it.

  4. Wow, I have no idea!!    I remember studying multiculturalism at school - we dedicated a whole week to celebrating it... but for the life of my I couldn't tell you a symbol for it.

    Even thinking of festivals, they usually take a photo of 3 different coloured kids (white, chinese and middle eastern normally) and use them to promote the multiculturalism.

    The 2nd part of our national anthem, Advance Australia Fair, has a few lines about it:

    'For those who’ve come across the seas

    We’ve boundless plains to share;

    With courage let us all combine

    To Advance Australia Fair.'

    The only symbols I can think of are Aboriginal, that doesn't help at all!
