There are Prehispanic archeological sites almost all over the country. Some of the most importants are Tehotihuacan, Chichen Itza, Xochicalco, Tulum, Coba, Palenque, Tajin, Cacaxtla, Monte Alban, etc.

You can also find Haciendas, most of them function today as hotels likie Hacienda de Cortes, Hacienda San Gaspar, and beautifull Churches like Santa Prisca, Catedral de Mexico,  all over the country, also a lot of Natural, Art & History Museums, as Museo de las Culturas, Museo Nacional de Antropologia e Historia, Munal, Palacio de Bellas Artes, All kind of music concerts like Fandangos in Veracruz and Mariachis in Garibaldi, and so.

There are beautifull beaches like the Mayan Riviera, Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Escondido, Manzanillo, Ixtapa, Acapulco, lakes as Tequesquitengo, Chapala, Patzcuaro, rivers like amacuzac, papaloapan, lagartos, woods like la rumorosa, Chichinautzin, Sierra Madre, and mountains and volcanos as Popocatepetl, Iztacihuatl, Tepoztlan, El Quemado, La Silla, Pico de Orizaba, Nevado de Toluca, with many activities such as rafting, speleology, hangliding, sky diving, waverunners, fishing, mountain biking, etc.

There is also many restaurants, discos, bars and tequila, pulque  and mezcal for having fun in the nightlife sucha as Anderson's Carlos & Charlies, Señor Frogs and a lot of shopping malls and stores.

For health you can have a temazcal wich is a prehispanic sweat bath with hot rocks, massages, yoga lessons and all kind of treatments for cleaning the body.

Depends what part of Mexico you are asking about -

  on our Cancun trip we saw Mayan ruins - Chichen Itza, Tulum, Coba, Ek-Balam.  Isla Mujeres and the island of Cozumel are both big tourist spots.  Nature parks - Xcaret and Hel-Ha.  There is also the coral reef for snorkeling.  Then there is the beach, of course.

Cancun itself is one big tourist attraction!!
