What are some Flash powder substitutes??

i have been trying to make some flash powder but this stuff is hard to come by unless you buy off the internet which i can't do.. So.. aluminum powder.. is this like something i can pick up at wal-mart or any local stores? And perchlorate? I also thought that i would just save the trouble and risk of making it and just buy gun powder, is there like an 18 age requirement on buying gunpowder?

-match heads or gunpowder can be used though they burn rather slowly.

-Permanganate with sugar half and half

-or similarly, Chlorate with sugar

(easily available materials with the chlorate having a higher explosive effect than the permanganate.)

-Aluminium is a potent fuel and when combined with Carbon Tetrachloride or Permanganate

(These are all of the lesser explosives which however are easier to acquire. They are usually ground fine to accelerate their burning rate.)

I have no clue about the age limit of buying gunpowder, im 15.
