What are some Flaws with United Nations?

The UN's military invervention has a notorious reputation for being a lame example of military force. Most of the time they are sent in underfunded, underarmed, run by generals from different nations with different agendas, and almost always are not allowed to shoot. In Rwanda the UN peace keeping forces were sent in to keep the peace but were not allowed to shoot. Only later were tehy allowed to shoot after being shot at, but by then forces were being withdrawn.

Also, when UN forces from one nation are sent some where else they have never enganged with, the motivation behind such orders is very apathetic. For example (this is a made up scenario) English troops are sent to a Mongolia to keep peace between Mongolia and China. The English could care less about what happens between these two nations and yet British troops have to die in order to keep peace? The British then get pissed their boys are dieing and then they withdraw.

The only real successful sanctions the UN can enforce on a nation is economic embargoes.

Having countries that are notorious for human rights abuses serve on the human rights council.

Making empty threat after empty threat and passing resolution after resolution without following up with any real consequences.

It's very existence is it's major flaw, it's a corrupt organization that sticks it's nose in the affairs of sovereign nations (especially the United States) and their ultimate goal is an all seeing global socialist government. I hate them and I personally wish that we would withdraw from the UN and evict them from their Turtle Bay location.

The United Nations is not a world government.

1- They have terrorist countries in the UN.

2- It has no real power unless one of the top five permanent members decides to use force. Make it 4 the French suck at fighting.

3- To easy for one of the 5 permanent members to Veto a resolution.

4- The Europeans nations love to try to show up the United States every time the US does not agree with them.

5- Why does the US have to pay 75-80 % of the money to keep the UN running, the list goes on  and on!
