  1. "Comic Party" is a manga mostly about an aspiring artist trying to make their way in the world while publishing doujinshi (fan manga).  It's not bad, and it's well drawn, but sometimes it gets a wee bit fan service-ish, which is why I stray from it.

  2. Um....I don't know that many but I have heard of Comic Party. But I suggest Lucky Star. It's about a daily life as an otaku.

  3. Lucky Star-they do a lot of real life things and mention anime, manga, cosplaying etc. It's so cute.

Puni Puni Poemy-The lead girl wants to be an anime voice actor. It's really fast-paced so you might have to watch it over a few times. Also, it only has 2 episodes. BEWARE: Your eyes might bleed.

  4. AOI House!!! One note before you check it out...If you don't like yaoi (boy x boy) DON'T read it...but it is HILARIOUS!!!

One day, he leaves his math notebook, full of impressive drawings and doodles, at school. The smartest boy in the class, Takagi, finds it and confronts him. Takagi proposes that they become mangaka together, with Moritaka doing the art and Takagi doing the writing. While cynical, Moritaka is intruged by the idea...

    Comic Party

The plot centers on Kazuki Sendo, whose passion and talent for painting and drawing propels him into the world of doujinshi (underground comics). Soon, Kazuki's everyday life is consumed by the fanboy life and his girlfriend is beginning to have some serious doubts about him... Sure, his new career as a struggling artist has begun, but at what cost to his friends and family?

    Dramacon (manga only)

Christie, a junior in high school, attends an anime convention with her boyfriend, Derek, to sell copies of a manga they've have collaborated on. However, Derek seems to be having trouble controlling himself when pretty cosplaying girls stop by their table, and upset Christie runs off and meets another cosplayer, Matt. When it comes to Matt, Christie begins to second guess herself when it comes to matters of love, and she begins to see her boyfriend for who he really is. As the weekend passes, Christie finds herself more and more drawn to the mysterious cosplayer.

    Doujin Work

A 4koma style strip that follows Najimi Osana and her friends adventures in doujin -- that is to say drawing (often perverted) fan comics. Najimi decides to join the 'circle' as a doujin artist herself once she realizes how profitable it can be, but soon realizes it's harder than it seems.
