I'm tryin to lose weight and eat at healthier places. I like Subway cause I can create my sandwich and add the healthy things take out things like mayo, cheese etc. Then I like El Pollo Loco too cause the chicken is grilled and if you take the skin off its super healthy n its pretty cheap. Are there any other healthy fast food places?

  1. some things in SUBWAY are NOT healthy...alot  of

their dressings are full of fat and oil

    Stick with the veggie  subs

  2. sweet tomatos is a very healthy plae to eat.   great salad bar

  3. fast food is not healthy. fast food is processed and the proteinds and nutrients your body needs cant be given from processed foods.

buy protein bars and shakes if you want to eat good and if you are on the go. wait until you get home to eat and you will save money.

  4. Taco Bell has a new Fresca menu that is very good, unlike the rest of their menu.   I tried it and it tasted good too!

  5. togos

    quiznos

taco bell is actually the healthiest of the chains (like mc donalds, carls jr, burger king, etc)

but the best thing to do is make your own food

its lower in calories, fat, cholesteroal

then any kind of "out" place

  6. I'm inclined to agree with soylent green, but if your careful, Subway can be all right. Get a sliced turkey, load up on vegis, get it on wheat, a little olive oil, and I ask them to spread the avocado instead of mayo.

For $5 odd bucks, it is a good deal if you are on the road.

The problem is with the bread. Although it actually has more whole wheat than any other bread in a fast food place, it probably is not too good for you.

  7. Blimpie

  8. Taco Bell, Schlotsky's, China Bowl Express...

  9. Hi,

Actually the fast food industry has things on their menu that are for the healthy eater. Try ordering a salad, Mcdonalds and Arby's have a pretty good selection. Just stay away from the fries and donot over order, up the size of your meal. Also, most of the restaurants have their fat and calories index in the restaurant or online so just print that out and use that as a guide too.  Stay away from processed foods, you tell if he food is processed if you drop it in water and it disolves!!

  10. Potbellys or Jimmy Johns

  11. At Taco Bell we've always had our Fresco options, which is basically a low fat alternative that removes cheeses, sauces, anything dairy and replaces it with fiesta salsa. Most customers have pretty positive opinions of it. And besides that, I'd say we're probably in the running for healthiest chain besides that.
