What is being done to prevent the extinction of White tigers? What programs are in place? Thanks

The white tiger is not a separate species...they are just white Bengal Tigers (sometimes Siberian).  They rarely occur in nature and are produced by people for zoos, circuses, etc.  Read more here:

There are selective breeding program to keep them in existance.  They are a genetic abnormality though and inbreeding to produce white tigers often produces malformed animals.
