Okay well maybe there isn't a mental illness for this but i would just like to know which one sounds the closet to these symptoms.

:Laughing at Inappropriate things eg: Doors, Pencils.

:Talking to yourself, Arguing with yourself. Eg: Saying out loud "Hmm I think i should do this instead of that" and replying to yourself saying things like "Well no duh idiot" etc and just having random conversations with yourself about anything.

:Seeing things but not like really hallucinating like mistaking an object to look like something else completely and claiming to see people that arn't really there.

:Hearing voices kind of, asking you for help giving you nonimportant information.

: Emotions changing in seconds.

: Acting weird eg: running around screaming, laughing like a maniac.

All of the above are what happens to me.. Yeah I know probably not mental but my friends all say that i should get checked into a mental hospital, I would just sit there in class an talk to myself about anything that intrests me, i would move my hands an demostrating something i'm trying to describe and just move my lips not let actuall words come out. The other day i was talking to a brick wall..

This isn't some kind of lame *** question or me being pathetic everything i have mentioned is true an has happened to me please give me a list of illness that this could be..

Its not that i am acting dumb or anything because most of the people in the SEU at school arn't really that smart and have trouble learning lots of people that have mental illness arnt the smartest out there (No Offence) But i would call my self a smart person, Getting above average at school in all classes, B+ A+ never lower.

Nobody knows about this except my friends since they have seen me doing it. If you have any questions or would like me to describe one of the things i have mentioned in more detail

  1. I would talk with your parents and let them know that you need to see a doctor.  Talk with them about your laughing at ordinary objects , talking to yourself and waving your arms around, arguing with yourself, mistaking objects to look like something else, seeing people that aren't there, hearing voices, mood swings and any weird actions.

  2. Right-

Uhm, it seems to me that this is a wee bit of a cry for attention.  Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, I'm not a mental healthcare professional, so I'm probably wrong, but still...  Now, you claim to get well above average marks at school, which means that you can concentrate enough to pay attention in class, most likely study a little at home and you're also aware enough to know that you *must* do well in school, for social reasons mostly, so that says quite a bit in itself.

From your writing you sound young, around 15 at the most, and schizophrenia does't appear in people this young.  If your friends know, if you act out in school, (also during class, if I've understood correctly), and you act out everywhere else, how is it possible that these "symptoms" stop as soon as you're in the presence of your parents?  They'd be bound to notice something like all of the above!  Even if they don't see you that often, or you've always been a little ''quirky'', forgive the expression.

Your teachers would have noticed, and they would have noticed fast.

I'm not saying what you're saying is a complete fabrication, but most likely, seeing things, and laughing at inanimate objects, and hearing voices, you could *very* easily be tricking your own mind into doing that.

One last thing is that most of the above symptoms would be explained if you'd been a long-time weed smoker, since a very young age.  Hallucinations and forms of paranoia and various psychosis are common in chronic pot smokers, but again, symptoms usually manifest a little later in life, the youngest I've known of being around 17.

In any case, tell your parents of all of the above, and most likely talking it out with a psychologist first and possibly a psychiatrist second, will give you the answers you need.

  3. sounds a bit like a manic phase of bipolar disorder or schizophernia. More like the BIPOLAR! How long has this been going on? Have you had any bouts of depression along with this yet? The depression does not really mean you are crying all the time or suicidal; Your sleeping habits could change to sleeping to much or too little, and withdrawling from everyone are also signs of depression. If your symptoms are scaring you try to see a Dr. asap, before things get worse. I sometimes go through the same type of stuff, usually right before i become depressed and stay in my room for a few weeks. It's no fun andf sometimes the voices, and the visuals can become frightening. GET HELP!!!!!!!

  4. schizophrenia? psychosis?

im not totally sure but i DEFINITELY recommend you see a doctor.
