  1. Sekhmet, my favorite!  The Eye of the wrath of Ra!

Any of the Ark Angels deliver meted justice.

    Hades

    Poseidon

    Diana

    Artemis

    d**e

  2. Though I hate to call Her 'mythical' (one woman's myth is another's religion), Sekhmet, the lion-headed Goddess of Ancient Egypt is a Goddess of justice.

Although given a bit of a bum rap as the 'destroyer' (one of her roles), she is also noted as a healer and protector, and one who stands up for the downtrodden and under priveleged - one who 'does what needs to be done' and 'rights the wrongs' of the world.

  3. In mythology their are 2 forms of Justice demonstrated. There is the justice of man, his laws and his gods. this is well depicted by Solomon in the Bible.

There is also the Justice of Nature. This has little to do with the laws of Man, it has to do with the balance and perpetuation of nature and the laws of the eternal source.

Egyptian and the Assyrian and Sumerian mythologies deals with the second form best. For the Egyptians being dependent upon the annual floods, etc.

  4. the Furies in Greek myth were the deliverers of justice - usually reserved for extreme cases such as killing your mother ala Orestes.  Nasty buggars that hounded a man and drove him mad for the rest of his life if he didn't get divine intervention.

  5. Tyr is the Nordic god of justice and righteous warfare.  He is the one from which came our name for Tuesday.  Blessed be.

  6. Themis, Goddess of Justice

ASTRAIA (or Astraea) was the virgin-goddess of justice. During the Golden Age she dwelt upon the earth with mankind, but was driven away by the lawlessness of the later Bronze Age. Zeus then placed her amongst the stars as the constellation Virgo.

She was closely identified with d**e, the goddess of justice, and with Nemesis, the goddess of rightful indignation.

Ma'at the goddess who personified concept of truth, balance, justice, and order

  7. Enki and Enlil

  8. Ma'at-Eygptian

Forsetti, Tyr and even Thor at times -Norse

  9. There's Justitia, the goddess of Justice who reigns supreme above the Supreme Court building in DC, one breast exposed, and blindfolded to represent the openness necessary in a democratic government and that the law does not see class or money.
