Well I'm guessing it's high blood pressure, I get a thumping pressure in my frontal lobe behind my eyes. It hurts. My husband has the same pain. I'm wondering if there is any medicine that is OTC that we can take. I can't take asprin (I'm allergic to acetylic (sp?) acid) However he can take asprin.

  1. Aside from diet and exercise, there are some herbs that are very beneficial for Blood Pressure. The most popular ones are Fish Oil, Hawthorn Berries, L-Arginine, C12 Peptides (from milk protein casein), Bonito Peptides, and Garlic.

With that being said, I would suggest talking to a doctor before randomly taking a product for something that you think you have without knowing that you specifically have high blood pressure. If you took something that lowered your blood pressure below normal, having it too low can be just as bad as being too high. Good luck!

  2. Go to Dr. Could be sinus headache, tension headache, etc. It is important for you to get checked. Look into things that you are both exposed to often, common allergies, pollants, smells...that may give you and your hubby the same type of headaches. How about ibuprofen? Can you take that?

High blood pressure has many other side effects than headache. Is your face or ankles puffy, swollen? If so you could try a mild diuretic aka water pill--usually sold with wieght loss supplements. Diuretics will lower blood pressure some. But if it is not high you do not want to lower your bp. So, get a check up.....at the least the will check your bp and tell you your range. If high bp is the case they can prescribe a med for you.

  3. No such thing as OTC blood pressure medicine.  The best thing to do is exercise, lower sodium intake and eat healthy food high in potassium like bananas and yogurt.  Remove as much stress from your life as you can, cut back on caffeine intake.

  4. Cayenne pepper suppliments have been know to stop high blood pressure in its tracks.I do wonder if you both dont have a common irritant around though such as hayfever with grass or maybe mold.I encourage everyone to check out the healing effects of cayenne pepper. I eat it ,drink it ect.For the last 30 years cayenne pepper has saved me from chest pains, palpitations,We even put it on deep cuts as it heals fast and stops bleeding.Read Sam Bizers book Curing with cayenne. He even used it on gunshot wounds. Its amazing.Aspirin thins blood but cayenne will regulate blood .It thins it if need be or it clots it if your bleeding.Always take it on a full stomach after a hearty but healthy meal. A peice of wheat bread really helps it settle well.

  5. I will never use OTC mediccation for high blood pressure, but I will use a very good diet to improve high blood pressure. Those foods that tent to help you to urinate alot are excellent for High bloood pressure.

  6. Natural remedies include fish oil, garlic oil, Hawthorn, Coenzyme Q10 and many others that you can find in a web search for "high blood pressure" + "natural remedies".

Each natural remedy helps a bit and you may need several.

A low salt diet and plenty of exercise helps as well.

  7. The two most effective things I know are Garlic in a Kyolic extract form and capsicum (in whatever method you prefer).

If in any way you can manage it, lowering your stress also goes miles and miles to reduce BP.  Beyond this being a fairly established fact now, I just finished a 6 month long research project to prove it.

The best methods around for lowing blood pressure involves oxygen therapies (peroxide and ozone), but those go beyond the realm of OTC's.  However if your condition gets dramatically worse, you might want to look into it.

  8. Let me guess you use regular table salt? Its given you high blood pressure? Regular table salt is horrible for you. Its just highly refined sodium chloride leading to all of the well known undesirable side effects. Table salt causes the body to retain water, causing swelling, edema, and cellulite. In my opinion the best salt to use is a natural mineral salt. I have tried many, but the one I have come to like the most is Himalayan Salt. It has almost all of the essential minerals that your body needs and they occur naturally, no added c**p. Here is a link to the website where I get mine. I hope this helps you. I know it has helped me. Many Blessings.
