What are some Places to go on a Road trip from Vancouver to Seattle?

So my family is going on a road trip from Vancouver to Seattle, and we need places to go to. On the way there and at Seattle. Thank you

Honesty, I wouldn't recommend stopping anywhere along I-5 - unless you want to gamble at the Tualip Casino.  A large % of the I-5 corridor is suburban and exurban sprawl and the open areas are relatively featureless farms and the flat Puget Sound Basin.  

However, if you're willing to deviate from the North - South  I'd recommend driving an hour East up Hwy 20 (North Cascades), or Hwy 2 or the Mountain Loop Hwy and going on a short day hike to a lake or a waterfall. Or you could head west on Hwy 20 and take a ferry ride though the San Juans (leave your car).

From Canada to Seattle.  Stop in Bellingham.  That is a nice city with some nice stops.  Also, the area around Anacortes has some nice scenery and Deception Pass State park.

If you mean Vancouver, WA, then you can stop in Olympia and Tacoma.  Also, if you don't need the most direct route, you can see Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainer.
