What are some Renewable Resources????

Trees are a renewable resource. You can plant three or four for every one you chop down, come back 20 years later, and see them. Also pigs, chickens, and cattle are a renewable resource, namely food. Though you can make leather from cow hides too. Just keep multiplying and keep taking advantage of the natural resources.

By way of contrast the opposite, a resource that is not renewable is one that runs out and can never be replaced. For instance coal and oil. Certain types of gems like real diamonds or sapphires, gold, platinum, and valuable metal ores are not renewable because once it is gone there is no more.

Renewables is the term generally used to describe those sources which are either unaffected or can easily be replaced.
