  1. I'm not sure if you were talking about going outside with him or not but I've recently started taking my nephew on what we call "nature walks". I'm home with him this summer and we grew bored fast so now that keeps us busy. Each day we decide what we're going to look for. The first day we did leaves. We challenged ourselves to find as many as possible then came home and put them in a notebook to look back at. The next day we did rocks and so on and son on!

Finger painting and clay molding is also fun!

Have fun with your brother and God Bless!!

  2. I would say try getting a bucket of water and putting some objects inside the bucket and have him reach in and find them, then praise him when he finds them... also try to play lots of games with balls. Try getting objects that are different textures and see if he will feel the difference while you say hard, soft, furry.... that way even if he can not say it he knows that there is a difference!

  3. it depends. if he's an active kid and energetic, go camping, hiking or play sports. and if he's not into outdoor activities, take him to museum, zoo, movies and maybe as an sports take him fishing with you. this way you guys sit around and talk about nature and their habitat. this is how families bound.
