  1. I didn't mind wearing uniforms and our school district required them from 7th to 9th grade. It was always easy to find something to wear, and every once in a while if you donated money or old uniforms/clothes to a charity you could wear jeans to school! ha I didn't see any disadvantages. Advantages would be that it kind of forced you to find other outlets of self expression. I mean, the thought of uniforms at first kind of pissed me off, but actually having to wear them was really not that bad.

  2. Advantages: Students won't feel left out or embarrassed if they don't have the most expensive clothing.

Disadvantages: They tend to be uncomfortable and not good for learning.

My standpoint on school uniforms are that they are great if they are comfortable. A simple khaki pant and collared shirt is just fine. You can move around and no kids will be discriminated against.

  3. The advantage is kids don't get wear whatever they want. Because some people wear inappropriate clothing and accessories. But the uniforms are very expensive and the school is very strict about it, right down to the colour of your socks. Hope I helped

  4. Advantages:

No one gets humiliated or shamed of what they're wearing. Poor kids don't get put down, and rich kids can't rub it in everyone's faces that they can afford all those branded clothes.

    Disadvantages:

I don't see any except if the uniforms are extremely uncomfortable.

Our Wednesday uniform makes us look like walking flags, and more than once I've heard laughing behind my back as I walk to and from school every day. But I deal.

  5. Pros:

-Students won't get bullied for not wearing the right things (although this still happened a bit at my school with the fit of the shirts, shape of trousers, shoes etc)

-It puts you in the right mode for learning...If you know what i mean. Whenever we had non-uniform days; everyone was a lot less motivated.

    - Easier in the morning. You don't stand there for ages trying to decide what to wear.

    Cons:

    -Uncomfortable.

    -Usually quite ugly.

-Not always right for the weather. Boys had to wear long black trousers all year round. Not nice in the summer. And we weren't allowed hoodies underneath our blazers, nor do most coats fit/look good on top of blazers..  so we got pretty cold in the winter.

-You can't show your personality through your clothes.
