What are some affordable hotels/motels in sydney with great views of the city?

view of the city thats easy affordable, not so easy

these are ones in Circular Quay which is probably the best vantage point of the city.

Quay West Suites Sydney- from$279

Four Seasons Hotel-from $250

then there is the Best Western Hotel Unilodge- from $130 no view but its fairly close

public transport is quite reliable and you can just get a train to the city or a bus and then you can get more affordable accomidation.

but there are always youth hostels which are really cheap

there is the Wake Up Hostel on pitt street (which is in the city) is is actually oposite to central station. a few minutes from Chinatown, a 15 minute stroll away from Darling Harbour & Sydney Aquarium, 20 minutes from Sydney Sky Tower, as well as a 30 minute walk from the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay.

which isnt as close to the city centre

Theres plenty of them. look around :)

They're pretty expensive if you want a view of the city though.
