What are some amazing us states to travel around christmas?

What states are the prettiest to travel to in the winter?

Preferably the east coast.

New York City. You can stay there for Christmas and for New Years Eve. It is awesome to see the ball drop.

I don't know where you are from, but I live very close to NYC and it is a great place to visit in the winter. Rockefeller Centers tree, ice skating, and everything is decorated so nice. Plus the restaurants, shows, shopping! etc.

well other than NYC or Disney World, ck out Hershey, PA and Hershey Park. Another is the Lake Placid area of Northern NY.  Nashville is pretty, not really the east coast and no snow though.

Though it isn't east coast...it's close. I used to live in Pensacola, FL and I love spending Christmas at the beach. My parents rented a condo at the Portofino Island Resort and Spa even though I lived there so we could all have a "vacation". The wind off the water can be down right cold at night but during the day it is totally manageable with a light jacket. The water is still bright blue and the sand is still white as snow. Portofino offers beautiful views inside and out and there is a lot to do in Pensacola and Destin is home to one of the greatest outlet malls I have seen to date. Destin is about and hour and a half away but there is plenty to see and do on the way so the drive doesn't have to be just one long trip...you can break it up.

Portofino also has a nice spa if you have the money to do that but if not the indoor pool, sauna, and steam room are free and a great way to relax and unwind.
