You cannot start a business without some investment. If you want to do at home work with no start up you need to find a work at home JOB, there is a big difference and the two are often confused.

I agree with Angela.  If you want a business rather it's running out of your home, or a traditional store front business, there will be upfront costs.  If you want to work from home and have a job working for someone else, trading time for dollars, then your looking at a home based job.  Two totally different concepts.

Either way, you have a few options to look into.  a home job which pays minimum wage .  But understand that after taxes your looking at your take home as below minimum wage.  If this is sufficient amount of income, here's a couple websites that you can take a look at and apply for the job.  I can't guarantee that you will receive the job. but you can apply for it. So many people are applying and looking for ways to make an income from home.  From personal experience, it's not the best solution for you, but it is a solution.

Your other option is to look into having a home based business in an industry that you like.  You have the same income opportunity as a traditional business, without all the over head expenses.  A huge income opportunity for you there working from home rather then working for someone else.  WIth a job, you really don't get anywhere in life, and financially you won't be sufficient. Owning a business you have the opportunity to make what ever you want and be financially stable.  Jobs, you have set hours, and low pay.
