I'm looking to name twin girls and I was hoping that you could help me on this one. The parents are half French and half English so I'm looking for something to please both parties.

Now the names that they don't like are

(Emma, Ashley, Vanessa, Danielle, Elizabeth, Abigail or Amy)

I came up with ( Rebeca Belle and Bethany Rose ), but I'm open to new name combination as long as they have deep meanings that indicate something really beautiful and sweet.

So thanks in advance to all who try help me by answering, and I can't wait to see your answers.

  5. Hmm... I'm not a fan of the name Bethany for some reason. Here's what I came up with:

For twins I like to keep the names a little similar:

    Angeline Michelle

    Arianne May

    Angeline means messenger

    Arianne means very holy

  6. My name is Bethany...I am so glad that I have a name that I have only heard a few times in my life. I am 23 and so far have onlyn encountered 6 other Bethanys and I am a teacher, so that's pretty amazing.

My name means "daughter of the Lord" or "house of figs" it is also the name of 2 cities in the Bible. Roses are the most beautiful and well known flower, assigned with many meanings. So Bethany Rose I believe is perfect.

Rebecca Grace I think would give the same deep meaningful impression as Bethany Rose.  Rebecca means "to bind, or tied". Rebecca is a Biblical name, she was a mother and a wife, so many say that the baby books leave part of the meaning out..."to bind, or tied by/with love". Grace is just a beautiful self explanitory name, as soon as it is said most immediately think of beauty.

    Hope this helped!

Are all French or French based names that can easily assimilate into English culture and use!

Good luck! I'm half French and half Euromutt myself, and had the same considerations when choosing a name.

Ultimately, you need to choose names that please you - your family will adjust and love their relative regardless of names, and all that matters is that you love it.

  8. Rebeca Belle is cute, however, she will ALWAYS get the extra C. And It's almost useless leaving it out. Trust me, my name is Brie. I constantly get Bre. It's almost not worth it.

I do like the Rebekah spelling though too.

I don't like Bethany at all, sorry, But i do like Rose as a middle name.

Here are some suggestions you might like :) - I think I see the types of names you like. [Suits all ages? Nicknames avaliable?] < Same as me.

    Okay..

    Rebekah Belle & Charlotte Rose

    Arabella Mae & Sienna Rose

    Amelia Rose & Jasmine Belle

    Milana Belle & Scarlett Rose

    Summer Paige & Avalon Mae

    Kiera Belle & Monique Rose

    Maya Rose & Gabriella Mae

    Savannah Mae & Rebekah Belle

Thats really, all i can think of right now.

I hope it helps & good luck x

  9. i like the names -

    amalie

    hannah

    belle

    rae

    mae

    victoria

    violet

& if i were to use middle names they would be -

    amalie rae

    hannah violet

    victoria belle

  10. I hate the name Rose. Rebeca (or Rebecca), Belle, and Bethany are all beautiful names, no matter the variation. Rebeca Belle was my favorite from what you listed. To please both sides of the family, you can go with Hallie (hay - lee) Remy (or Remi). Hallie means "Praise the Lord" and is an English name. Remy is a unisex name of French decent. Good luck!

  11. Pacey Rose, Prescila Rain

In Our Language... Pacey means sweet.
