  1. Mill Ave.

Club Tattoo just 1 block South on Rural, East side of street.

How can I get a thumbs down for telling someone where a bar is?

    You people are nuts!

  2. Maloney's on Campus is near the northeast corner of campus.  Four Peaks Brewery is maybe 1/2 mile east of campus.  The Vine is across the street from and a few minutes' walk from the SRC.

Mill Ave has a lot of bars, but less than you would think based on its reputation.  The Library, Rula Bula, Cherry Club, Hooters, Fat Tuesday, Tavern on Mill, Mill Cue Club, Big Bang piano bar, the PF Changs Bar, the bar at the Big Fat Greek Restaurant, a couple Mexican restaurants with liquor licenses... there's a bunch, but I actually don't think I missed many there.

A little off campus but still close by there's Casey's Oyster House (unique quirky fun little place)... I think Boston's and Oregano's still serve plus they're popular restaurants.

South Tempe has some good divey bars where local bands play.  Yucca Tap is a legendary dive, Last Exit is a good place.

Old Town Scottsdale is a fun scene as long as you don't do it too often.  There's every kind of bar there - lots of combined bars and good restaurants.  And most of the Valley's decent clubs are in Old Town (though there are also a lot of crummy stupid clubs there).

    Have fun!

  3. .  Just walk down Mill Ave and you are in Bar Heaven.  Then go up to Old Town Scottsdale and sit upstairs at some of the bars and watch the world go by.

  4. Just go to Mill Ave and you'll see all the lights of the bars. I would suggest going to the Big Bang on Mill it is a very fun piano bar. Good luck going this weekend school starts Monday all the bars near there will be packed

  5. There is a bar on just about every corner in Tempe, they are easy to find.

  6. That's college town! there's something wrong if you can't find a bar.

The Library is one of my favorites on Mill Ave.

  7. Rula Bula is my favorite - and there are plenty of others on Mill.

There's also Casey's Oyster House a few blocks off Mill.

Downtown Phoenix, my favorite is Seamus McCaffrey's.
