What are some beautiful but not well known places in Thailand for a 10 day vacation?

Well Im going to Khao Lak - which is apparently quite spectacular - on the southwest side of Thailand...one one side surrounded by the Andramen Sea and on the other sider is rainforest/bushland. Am told that u can do tours there - but you need to look locally! Suppose to be one of the best diving spots in that part of the world. Its hasn't been really tapped in yet as a touristy place...but its still tourist orientated enough so you will not be completely lost.

You could head up beyond Kanchanaburi to the Three Pagodas Pass.

Mae Hong Son and the surrounding area is very nice as well.

Ko Samet used to be a popular beach destination some years ago but it hardly ever gets a mention these days.
