  1. So much. Picasso of course, the Prado museum, Barcelona and not only the museums but the architecture (Sagrada Família Cathedral, by Gaudí), the Guggenheim in Bilbao, seveal cities like Sevilla, Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Cadiz, Málaga (my favorite, also Picasso´s birthplace).

    Spain is amazing.

If I was to live in Europe, only Spain, honest, and i´m an Italian citizen.

The Canary islands are great too.

    Have fun there.

Btw, I don´t like the bullfights at all, even though they are a major tourist atracction.

Famous artwork besided Picasso, there´s Dali, El Greco, Gaudí and many more.

  2. Salvador Dali was a surrealist. Surrealism is an art movement in which the mind is supposedly liberated and so the unconscious mind can be used along with the dreamlike state gained in order to create images etc that are truer than reality or more than real. So some of the works of art may look a little strange and you have to use your imagination.

  3. You could definitely check out the Prado museum in Madrid, they have a lot of interesting art there.  In Barcelona there is Guell park, which features many of the architectural delights of Antonio Gaudi, one of Spain's most famous architects as well as his beautiful cathedral La Sagrada Familia, which is absolutely breathtaking.  We can also see a lot of his achitecture throughout the city as well.  Some well known Spanish artists include Picasso, of course, Juan Miro, Salvador Dali, El Greco, Francisco Goya....Toledo is a beautiful town as well, with gorgeous churches and little narrow cobblestone streets, and the Plaza Mayor in Madrid is beautiful, fun, and romantic and the beaches in barcelona are gorgeous too...

  4. Picasso, of course.  And you can see a lot of his work there, too.  I saw some in Madrid.

  5. In Madrid do not miss the Museo Reina Sophia and the Museo Thyssen Bornemisza. (See the Web sites).

The Spanish artist noticible by his absence above is Valazquez
