  1. ok. you can do some of the following drills to help.

you need to remember to stretch your legs because you have to change positions a lot.

    so for the volleyblal part:

for hitting/bumping/passing (whatever you call it!):

find an empty wall. throw the ball against the wall and hit it as many times as you can. start out at 20 hitting it back and fourth to the wall. then go up to maybe 35 and try to get 100! it isnt as easy as it sounds!

    serving:

you can try to serve it to the same wall. the point is to make it come back to you. try doing about 10-20 of those in a row.

    setting:

this is proubabky the hardest thing to practice on your own. the only thing you can really do is to st it to yourself about 10 times in a row or make a like on the driveway with chalk and try to set it just over the line.

    spiking:

some people are too short and some teams dont like short people to spike. i dont know how tall you are, but i dont know how to help you with spiking other than to use the line of chalk take a few steps away from it...throw the ball in the air like it had been set to you, and run up and spike it over the line.

    hope this helped! good luck!

  2. try run throughs

  3. try peppering.

    :]] and do single

    passing on the wall

    and spiking towards the wall

  4. you can always do shuttle passing. its where you have two lines that are facing each other, and you pass back and forth. once someone passes the ball, they run into the other sides line. try to set a goal to c how many good passes you can get. partner passing, partner setting and peppering is always good. 3 hit pepper really works on controlled digs and hits.

  5. I'm sorry to tell you, but there has never been a fun volleyball drill invented that doesn't include a net.  That's because volleyball is a game where the net is essential to competing.  The fun part about playing volleyball is that you are playing a game.  No Net = No Game.

But there are all sorts of things you can do in order to get a net.  Demand a net from your athletic director or varsity coach.  Raise funds somehow.  If that's no good, tie a clothesline to a pair of eyebolts drilled into the wall.  Drape some loose netting over the top.  Have two of the kids take turns holding onto the clothesline if necessary.

Then play games!!!  Play Queen of the Court with three players or four players.  It's a one point game and the winner is the Queen and takes on another group.  Play Short Court where the 3m line is out and the girls tip the ball over on the third contact.  Play One on One Pepper where one girl is on each side of the net; they pass to them self, set to them self, then tip or roll shot the ball over to their partner.

The game teaches itself when you play.  You can help with fundamentals and movement, but they will truly learn the sport when they take what they work on and play.  Good Luck.

  6. Do some passing back and forth see how many you can get in a row! Aim for 100! Here is a web site it might help! GOOD LUCK!

  7. i would try:

    run throughs

    simple passes

    footwork

    rules

    just basics
