  1. They're cute and small and easy to take care of, fun, fuzzy, warm, nice (usually), and just all around great to have. sometimes it depends on breeds.

  2. you don't need a bunny.  I've had several, they are work, lots of fun, mine all used a litter box. They also eat furniture legs, electric cords, and much more.  They can be very friendly, but can also bite & kick. I would suggest a cat or bird for company.

  3. Well, they will potty on your bed so I think a cat would be better.   Rabbits will also nibble on wiring.

  4. Raibbits look very cuddley and cute, but the reality is that they are a complex creature that doesn't like to be held usually and they actually require as much work to take care of as a dog. I would reccomend a cat, they are way more cuddley. After months of bonding with a rabbit they can become more cuddley, but some just never like to be held at all. They are also pretty expensive, here are some of their costs:

Spay/nueter (this needs to be done to make them less agressive)

    large cage

    litter box

    tons fo toys

    food

    hay

    bedding

  5. Rabbits are not good for people confined to beds. They need lots of time out of the cage, and this requires heavy supervision, which usually requires chasing the rabbit around or yanking electrical cords out of its mouth.

  6. I don't think a bunny would be the best choice for your situation...they are NOT low-maintenance, and require a lot of learning to understand them. A rat, hamster, gerbil, or something along those lines would be more appropriate.

  7. tis true about the pottying thing..

but if you get a laid back bunny, she will fall asleep in your arms.

    so cute.

I would recomend a lop eared or a dwarf.

    something small.

make sure you have carrots for it to nibble on :)
