What are some benefits of losing weight?

I'm seventeen...171 pounds and plan on losing 40 by February. I have high blood pressure, and losing weight will help me tremendously (it was 151/109 last week) So far, this is what I have.

1. lower blood pressure

2. get to wear cuter clothes in the mall.

3. i can do charity runs

4. Overall, i'll feel better about who I am.

Can anyone else think of anything? What do you think benefits to losing weight are?

  4. When I decided to lose 50 pounds in 5 months I made a plan. First thing I needed to do was learn how. Then I organized myself for success. Here's what I did it:

    Set a goal: Lose 50 pounds.

    Make a plan:

    1. Learn how to lose weight.

    2. Find a suitable diet and stick to it.

    3. Get organized with charts and tools and knowledge.

    4. Execute the plan

    Modify my diet - this was key my to success.

    Lost 50 pounds and 17 inches in 6 months.
