  1. Actually there are a lot of good reasons for studying abroad in high school instead of college.

One I think the most important is that in high school yes youre grades are important but the work is stuff that you have grown up with and learn and it may not all pretain to what you want to do in the future , so when you study abroad if you dont understand the work well then you may mess up a year of high school(not saying this will happen.) But then with college your paying all that money then you go to a diffrent country what if you arent able to balance adjusting to a new culture and stuff like that? Thats your future its not like in high school where its not as major.

you could go in high school study abroad see how it is and if you like it go to study abroad again in college but comparing the two going in high school is better if you dont want to have to stress out even more in college than the average joe. It also really depends on where you want to study abroad because if they speak english or a language you know then I would say it doesnt really matter but yeah hope this helps!

  2. There are none really that I can think of. You would probably have to go with a chapparone right? My good friend did that in highschool and she felt like a baby having to be watched all the time. She was restricted in so many ways. Go in college when you can study a subject or while you are there, or meet people in hostels and join them. Go when you are freer to make your own decisions. You will not only love it, you will learn far more about the culture, social norms, the country, and the way in which americans are viewed and contrasted to the country you visit.......besides..... down the road after college you will meet people that also went to study abroad in college.....the ones that went during college have far better stories to tell.
