What are some big shot jobs?

After I graduate with my degree in Business Management Economics I want to get hired by a company in a big city where I can work in a big downtown office building and wear a suit to work everyday, working hard to bring in big figures. I've already ruled out accounting. What other careers should I start looking at?

  1. Unless you can start your own successful business, you don't just start out as a big shot.  You have to work your way to that.  Unless your parents are big shots you leach off them.

  2. Sorry to burst your bubble but "big shot" jobs and wearing the suit and tie every day is a lot of work, a lot of money for clothes, and a lot of stress. Not to mention the demands, pressure, and skills you need in addition to experience.

I work in an office where I am expected to dress nice daily and occasionally sit in meetings. Love the work but a lot of high stress, pressure, and demands from the big bosses.

Lower your expectations. Working in a big office and in corporate is nowhere near as exciting or worthwhile financially as it seems.
