  1. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

May be a bit out of your league, but it's certainly thought provoking. It takes place in the future, and it shows a protagonist that questions why things are the way they are.

  2. the Alex Rider books

  3. the twilight series.

it will be the best book series you have ever rad.

    XD

trust me. vampires and so much more.

  4. The Giver

    Uglies

    The Outsiders

  5. You have to read the twilight saga collection, 4 books to date.

  6. The goonies.

  7. Read anything by Arthur Conan Doyle. He is amazing.

  8. i think you would really like the Twilight Series. it is about vampires, its ramance, drama, fantasy, adventure all in one. there are 4 books in teh series so far. also, try the harry potter series.

  9. Oh Gawd.

You'll love The Blood Confession then.

    I'm currently reading it now.

Though..It has stuff about 'betraying' God and what not.

    But..lot's of Blood. :'D

  10. try some classics like catcher in the rye and to kill a mocking bird :)

  11. Twilight Twilight Twilight

    You will LOVE it

  12. Try Deltora Quest. There are 8 books in the first series 3 in the next and 3 in the last. I'ts a long series but still realy good.

  13. The Mortal Instruments series - the first one's called City of Bones (By Cassandra Clare)

The Warrior Heir + the Wizard Heir are pretty good too.

  14. For spy stories, try John LeCarre's "The Spy Who Came In From The Cold" and "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy."  LeCarre is a former British diplomat/spy.  I do not know if the events in his stories actually happened or not, but the stories have enough verisimilitude that you believe they might have.  Although not a spy story per se, LeCarre's "The Constant Gardener" is another good story.

For a good fantasy story, try Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere."   A young man saves the life a complete stranger; she, in turn, leads him to a secret world hidden beneath London where he might survive long enough to face his destiny.

  15. Jurassic Park is an absolute classic. StarShip Troopers is unique and paces nicely....uhm...

The "Paris Option" by Robert Mudlum

"The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" by Max Brooks (especially good for film geeks like me)

"How to Survive a Robot Uprising" and similar books by Daniel H. Wilson

You should be able to tell from these that I'm a geek.

  16. Hey. Everyone's responses on here seem pretty good. Just a thought - try going on amazon and looking up the books you've already read and liked, and look at what others bought who also bought those. That's what i sometimes do. It's a good way of getting books of a similar style and tone.

p.s. For spy books, you can't beat LeCarre.

  17. Ooooooooo! You should check out the icemark chronicles. The first book is called the Cry of the Icemark. You'll love.

If you're looking for good books, try also; the outsiders, eragon, eldest, Daughter of the blood(daoughter of the blood is pretty...adultish stuff though) the unicorn chronicles, scorpion king, holes. This is a list of books with a pretty large range, from science fiction to fantasy,(i read alot) so i hope you enjoy!

    Hope I helped!  :-)   ^_^

  18. If you've never read the Bible all the way through, that would be something you could try (you could read a chapter a day).  You could go to the library and search for books similar to what you already like.  Its good you like to read.
