I'm looking for a career that I can get in less than 9 years please. I just graduated from high school. And preferably not dealing with science. Thank you!

  1. Computer programming is definitely an option.

I'm a writer and I made almost $75K a year my second year in business - which was a long time ago. So writings an option. (I write how-to e-books and articles.)

    Good luck to you.

  2. Home sales/real estate,

    engineers,

    some nurses,

    medical technologists,

    pharmacists,

chemists (in southern states where oil companies are present), pharmaceutical sales,

    accountants.

  3. human resource managers, marketing managers, sales managers, lawyers, architects, accountants

  4. Have you thought about becoming a lawyer?  That always pays well.

Engineers make a lot, too, many $50k/yr to start.

Don't expect to make $90k out the gate, though.  You need some experience first before most places will pay that as a regular salary.

I have heard of entrepreneurs earning that much, but for every business that is successful, 10 others fail.

  5. A lot of jobs pay that much.  But pretty much all of them will require either additional schooling beyond high school, most likely a college degree, or some specific skill beyond what most people have - some high-ticket sales jobs, for example.

  6. Going to COLLEGE or NOT ???

If you don't have a college degree you probably won't ever earn 90k

    Acutary (100k and up)

    Law Clerk

    Attorney

Systems Analyst - Programmer (start 40k-60k and up)

Network Administrator (start at 60K and up)

    Sales Manager (salesperson)  non-car-sales

    Real Estate - realtor (sales)

high level officer of any mid-large company

Consultant (you have to know your stuff)

    Project Manager (anything)
