What are some characteristics of Zuko from 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'?

*likes to keep going towards his goal, and wants to reach it as soon as possible

*loses his temper, usually when people are fooling around

*has a respect for his uncle that isn't really shown

*for a long time was confused with himself

*has a hatred towards his sister

*has a liking towards Mei

*is thought of as rude, and not very smart by people in Aang's group

*tries to take advice but usually can't understand it

*isn't very patient at all

*is a good person at heart

*joked with by people at times

*has a very strong leadership

*comes of mean at most times when he doesn't always mean it

Its difficult because Zuko's changed over the series, like, at first he had no empathy, all he wanted was his honour back, and his father's love. But he slowly rebelled, and grew a heart, falling for Mai.

Just make him moody, irrational, softly spoken, sometimes temperamental, a good person at heart, and loyal to people he feels he should be loyal too ( and betraying people he feels deserve it).

For Zuko? Pretty hard since his personality does change over the series. I recommend you watch a few episodes for example:

You don't really have  to watch them all but they will give you a feel of what he is like if you study it carefully.

While initially the series' primary antagonist, over time Zuko has shown to be more of a bitter and complex young man than a truly evil character; he eventually forsakes his past goals and becomes a hero. Zuko's sole motivation for many years was catching Aang, so he could return home with honor as his father had proclaimed. However his mistakes and struggles lead him to realize his destiny was to oppose his father and join the Avatar to help defeat the Fire Lord.

His past crimes and mistakes still haunt him. However, after he restored his honor by joining the Avatar, his mistakes proved to be the reason why his Uncle Iroh felt Zuko was destined to restore the honor of the Fire Nation as it's new Fire Lord. Having earned the trust and friendship of Avatar Aang, Zuko is determined to help lead the Fire Nation and the world into an era of love and peace.
