Ok iam on a budget and i need cheap ideas to do for my sweet 16.

plus its cheaper if you go in groups

then after, go out to eat and then have a sleepover

you can never go wrong with a little get together at your place. If your house isnt big enough, ask a friend with a bigger house to do it there. Also to make it fun, have it be like a costume party. Trust me, people love to dress up.

go to a house where they had a party and take their trash. set it up so it looked like your guest missed the party. you can say something  like man that was off the hook sorry i wrote the wrong time down.

Coolest cheap invites:  Buy the flower lei from oriental trading by the dozen and attach a handmade or printed invitation card.  Hand everyone a lei to invite them to your party or you can mail them if need be.

Get hula hoops and have contests.

Taco Dip:

2 softened cream cheese.

1 16oz sour cream

1 packet taco seasoning.

Mix with mixer. Put in bottom of a cookie sheet. Top with shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and green onions. Use the cheese but you can altered the rest to your taste, maybe add black olives. Make 2 of these. Serve with tostitos scoops.

Whole pineppple into chunks. Slice strawberries. Add whole table grapes no seeds, add chunks of watermelon, and cut oranges in slices cut into triangles. This is best made the night before so that the juices can all run together and stir before serving.

It is just shaved deli meat and cheese triangles. You dont have to put lettuce on them, ours did not have it. t. The ones that we had catered just had real butter on them and they had mayo and mustard packets on ice on the side.

6 cups Crispix cereal

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup butter

12 ounce chocolate chips

2 cups powdered sugar

Melt peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips together in the microwave or on the stove. Stir into cereal. Put powdered sugar in a paper sack. Put cereal mixture in and shake until well coated.

Movie party theme for hall or at home.

Have a movie themed party. They sell  a awhole line of decorations for this at oriental trading. com If at home watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kids of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have sundaes. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance in a hall with this theme. Have everhyone wear a movie star costume or make dress up and make it like a red carpet premier and you are the star.

u can do a luau theme party. just make sure u have bright colors decorations.

FIRST: make a flyer inviation from ur computer and invite ur friends or just call them and invite them. tell them to dress luau-creative and to bring their suits.

SECOND: set a budget for decoration and try to balance it out and buy decorations such as luau lights, inflatable parrot, paper laterns, tiki pole, fake/balloon palm trees etc.

THIRD: when ur guest are coming, set the luau music (either download from ur computer or buy a CD) to set the mood and set activities like who dances the hula dance best and take pictures and laugh.....and then other activites such as limbo. also find competitions games such as hula hoop competetions so that everyone has fun. make sure u take pictures!!! =)

FOURTH : serve tropical drinks like virgin pina colada if ur parents dont like alcohol. for snakcs and food try some hawaian recipes and enjoy!
