  1. Many, many movie theaters offer free (or like $1) summer movies.  Granted, they are about 6-8 months old, and they are usually shown on Tuesdays or Wednesday mornings around 10am, and they are G (or PG)

    Check with your local movie theater to see if they offer anything like that.  AMC and Regal Cinemas are offering this all summer.
