  2. I'm assuming from your question that you want some programs that promote children's writing skills?!  The way the question is written it is confusing, so I hope this is what you are looking for.

    In a preschool environment, letter formations and actual legible writing is not a focus.  We work correct grasp of writing instrument, which hand the child will be writing with as their fine motor skills improve and talking about what they have done on the paper.  Essentially, writing legibly at the ages of 3-5 is not an appropriate expectation.  That does not become a focus until they enter Kindergarten.  If you want to promote writing and experimenting with writing, offer a writing center in your class.  Have a large variety of writing instruments (colored pencils, pens, pencils, markers, big and small crayons), have a large variety of paper to select from (some with lines, some plain, some with pictures) as the children draw and use these different instruments they are experiencing writing at its earliest stages and developing their fine motor skills.  This will make a stronger foundation for writing in the future.
