underoath? what the c**p? haha. with female singers, flyleaf is your best bet. another good one is skillet. the lead singer is a male, but his wife sings on most of the songs as well. Fireflight is a female lead singer band. They're on the heavier side as well, but I don't think they scream like flyleaf. and if you like real heavy stuff, go for bloodlined caligraphy. hope that helped.
